we were really happy with the stay. the only disappointing thing is the internet situation: we paid 15pounds for a week and half of the time it didnt work

The hotel is good value and present in a lively area. Some might describe the location as rough but I liked its vibrance and it is only a stones throw from the City of London. Id go back.

This hotel was good value for money 39GBP. Large clean room with thin walls in the no glitz east end, very close to Aldgate East tube station. Hotel restaurant/bar was closed on Sunday. Not a good place to stay if you intend hitting the west end shows wearing your clam rags.

A very pleasant hotel situated close to Aldgate tube station and within walking distance to Tower bridge, the Tower of London, and for the more adventurous foot traveller ST Pauls is a 35 minute walk. Beyond that, Fleet Street, the Strand and then your close to Covent Garden,Leicester Square.

Staff was nice. Rooms were appropriate for cost. (They are in the process of renovating). Only truly negative aspect was that the hotel was in a rather rough part of town.
