The room smelled, was badly maintained, worn/cheap old furniture, room doors painted in dull battleship grey, felt like a prison! Very old carpets on stairways and in room.

The hotel was only 2 minutes from the tube and 1 minute from Chelseas ground should anyone be interested in going to the match! The continental breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice and there was the option of buying a cooked breakfast which went down well with my husband. The rate we got was excellent (£85 per night for 2 adults and 1 child) but not sure if I would have paid the full advertised price shown in the hotel lobby. The only fault was that the window would not close, (but that was no problem for us being there in the summer) and the curtains would not close over the whole window area. Would definitely stay there again for a short stay.
