The choice of breakfast was very limited, there were coffee rings on my bedside table when I first entered the room and one of the plug sockets had fallen off. Minor complaints, but when I came back one night and asked for my room key the receptionist didnt ask me for my name or any confirmation that I had that room, which was a bit worrying. Otherwise, it was a decent stay.

Not posh, but ideal for an economical overnight stop when I come down to London. NIcely refurbished since my last time.

Arriva is clean and comfortable, and seems to have been recently revamped. The only downside is the noise. You can hear conversations in neighbouring rooms, floors creaking, toilets flushing and residents walking by outside your room - so not good if youre a light sleeper. And the unisex toilet near the reception area leaves a lot to be desired! That said, it is a reliable budget hotel in a great location near to Kings Cross and Euston and within walking distance of tourist spots. If you want basic accommodation in a good location this isnt a bad choice.

Ive stayed in many budget hotels in London and this one has to be the pits! It smelt terribly on the 3rd floor (musty and damp), all really shabby, peeling paint , rotten window frames, stained sheets, dirty duvet cover, broken tiles, grafitti, everything was just horrible, outdated and no care given to what furniture and fixtures were put in the room. I felt ashamed to be staying there. It was like a DSS B&B flea-pit - avoid!

For £45 in central London I was never going to get Travelodge quality however the room was below expectations with a rotting and blackened window frame, broken tiles in bathroom, broken and melted bathroom light and barely enough room to turn around in.

Rather basic, but excellent value for money. Why pay over £100 a night for a luxurious room when you are planning to be out all day? Very comfortable, with a simple breakfast nicely presented. Tried to book for another date, but the hotel was fully booked, which must say something!

The hotel is situated close to Kings Cross and handy for dropping off your luggage and exploring London. The staff were polite but not too talkative otherwise the hotel is a bargain to stop at.

This hotel was good for the price range. It was clea and conveniently located to the train station and underground (you can walk with your luggage). The room was small but fine if youre just looking for a place merely to sleep and shower. The windows opened so the room stayed fresh. I would defintely stay there again.

Not recommended. The room was in poor shape. No chair. The area didnt look bad, but from the all-day buzzer to request entry, clearly security is a problem.
